I cut my teeth in the cozy embrace of New England, where my love affair with the outdoors began. Hiking, skiing, climbing, biking - you name it, I tried it (even skateboarding, though let's just say I won't be going pro anytime soon).

The Call of the Wild

As a kid, I'd drift off to sleep with visions of far-off mountains, lakes, and forests dancing in my head. New England was great, but my heart yearned for more. I needed big skies, sprawling landscapes, and the kind of adventures you can't find in your backyard.
